Arranging the regional-partnership coordinators and the implementation of the formation of the medical health industry cluster.
The Regional Innovation Strategy Promotion, as well as the Regional Innovation Strategy Support Program, proposed by the Fuji Pharma Valley Strategy Promotion Council was officially adopted on July 1, 2013. As the main mechanism for the project’s collective coordination, The Pharma Valley Center deploys regional-partnership coordinators and is working on the original theme of this project (industry-academia-government)in the eastern regions along with the Shizuoka Cancer Center Research Institute and the Shizuoka Cancer Center.

- ●Development and support of diagnosis markers for malignant tumors
- ●Development and support of functional components for surgical procedures
- ●Development and support of nursing equipment and the discovery of robotic needs

Role of the coordinators and definite case-support.
■Drug Discovery Coordinators
Collection and implementation of the data from meetings held at the Shizuoka Cancer Center as well as the University Research Institute.
- ●Development and support of new diagnostic drugs and remedies for cancer.
- ●Implementation of multi-omics research that holds genome data.
- ●Applications of competitive external scholarships, support of acquisitions.
- ●Formation and support of alliances and providing services for medicine manufacturing and diagnostic drugs.
■Medical Care and Nursing Robotics. Equipment Coordinators
Along with establishing and visiting nursing and medical institutions, gathering research and engineering services, they will combine the needs of medical care equipment with the theme of development.
Mapping out the construction of a system in order to discover the development needs of related medical care equipment from medical devices and nursing institutions.
